About Dessn
Dessn integrates with how product teams currently work, rather than creates a new way of working. This is why - we integrate into your existing codebase (you don’t have to built on Dessn from scratch) _ your changes are pushed through are requests (which is current output of any dev work).

Component map
Think of this feature like an “automated Storybook”. We visually render every component that exists in your codebase, with all their props, variants, ifconditions, etc. (we know, pretty fckn cool). On its own, this feature fully automates your component documentation and gives both devs and designers visibility into your design system (is this a taboo word? idk), coming directly from your source of truth. This feature is the base tech layer that powers pretty much everything else. It's also the hardest part of Dessn to build. The reason this powers everything else (since you asked), is because if you want to edit a component on prod, the right thing to do would probably be to change the variant of the button (not just CSS overwrite the color for example). So Dessn needs to have a deep understanding of your components in order to give you the ability to design and build with them.
